Apple Gets Multitasking All Wrong

It seems that Apple didn't get multitasking quite right in iPhone OS 4. According to this article over at pcworld lots of users are complaining about power consumption. It isn't certain that it is multitasking that is causing this but that is a pretty good guess.

Combine this with the poor reviews of the multitasking UI and limited functionality mean Apple really blew it.

Add to those problems, issues with many other aspects of the iPhone 4, including: antenna problems; a misplaced proximity sensor causing unintentional mute and hang ups; easily scratched glass; and strange yellow pixels, and it starts to look like Android may be looking better than ever.

Now I am not saying that there aren't a lot of iPhone lovers out there who won't switch until Apple delivers a completely unusable device. But with these kind of problems one has to wonder if Android is going to start eating into iPhone market share instead of just RIM and Windows Mobile.
